What kind of events are being tracked in Shopify?

The Pasilobus Google Analytics app is a Shopify-integrated tool tailored to monitor your online store's performance. Upon installation, the app automatically activates and captures a range of Google Analytics events listed below to provide you with essential insights.

For more tailored tracking, you have the option to integrate additional "Custom Events." Further details on these custom events can be found on the "Custom events" article.

Default Google Analytics Events Captured by the App:
  • Page View: This event is triggered whenever a page on your online store is viewed.
  • Product View: This event is triggered whenever a customer clicks on a product on your online store.
  • Collection View: This event is triggered whenever a customer clicks on a collection on your online store.
  • Add to Cart: This event is triggered whenever a customer adds a product to their cart.
  • Remove from Cart: This event is triggered whenever a customer removes a product from their cart.
  • Checkout Start: This event is triggered whenever a customer starts the checkout process.
  • Payment Info Submitted: This event is triggered whenever a customer submits their payment information during the checkout process.
  • Shipping Info Submitted: This event is triggered whenever a customer submits their shipping information during the checkout process.
  • Purchase (Conversion Tracking): This event is triggered whenever a customer completes a purchase on your online store.

Note: The Purchase event (Conversion Tracking) can be disabled from the app dashboard. The remaining events will be tracked by default and cannot be disabled.
